Production Support Engineer
Skill Set Needed:

    • Primary Technical Skill: Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, DB2, Unix shell scripting
    • Secondary Technical Skill:  SQL, ETL (Ab-Initio) and Google Cloud (basics), Transmission (BizLink and NDM) knowledge is a plus.
    • Tools and Bonus Skills: Experience with Tivoli, Java, SQL in Banking, card processing, merchant payments,

Job Description:

  • Job Description: Production support specialist with experience in Commercial Card and Merchant Service Platform are critical suite of applications and payment integrations under Enterprise Payments portfolio. Responsibilities include:

    • The candidate must be able to zip and unzip files in a mainframe environment.
    • The position is to provide both L1 and L2 support for the user queries, file processing and provide solutions to most recurring problems and analyze the code as appropriate to fix the problem permanently.
    • The associate must interact with Client and vendor partners on a day-to-day basis and ensure all BAU processes are running as expected.
    • Monitor the health of the application and inform all the stakeholders and LOB for any issues/findings.
    • Prioritize the tasks accordingly and complete it within expected deadlines.
    • Co-ordinate meetings with offshore team and LOBs on a regular basis.
    • Monitor the incident queues regularly and ensure all the IM’s and Service-Now requests are completed/addressed within the provided SLA’s.
    • Follow the change management process for any new changes and perform the validations/System checks post-production deployment.
    • Work with multiple vendors and address any issues or concern with the file transmissions and data.
    • Addressing all the vulnerabilities, variances, and findings on time with related to the supported applications.
