Title: Project Coordinator
Duration: 7 Months +
Location: Remote in Phoenix

REMOTE WORK COMMENTS:
Expected to commute into the office on an infrequent basis to participate in occasional events or meetings (typically 1 or 2 days per month).

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The IT PMO Coordinator I is an entry-level role within the IT-PMO department at company responsible for the administration and coordination of tasks assigned by the project or program manager for IT projects in a fast-paced environment.

PROJECT INFORMATION:
The IT PM Coordinator will be assigned to various tasks across the PMO, such as assisting Finance with budgets during budgeting season, building ad hoc reports, tracking IT Steering Committee activities, assisting with HR headcount requests, and validating our IT staffing model.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates tasks, tracks work progress, and updates project schedules and plans.
  • Escalates delays to the project or program manager.
  • Assists in documenting changes to scope, cost, or schedule as directed by project manager.
  • Documents risks and issues, escalates to project or program manager when occurring.
  • Monitors project budget and escalates to project or program manager if exceeds.
  • Communicates with the project manager and team on tasks and project status.
  • Records notes during project meetings.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 months of work experience in an office or customer service setting.
  • Basic understanding of Visio, PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Basic understanding of Finance
  • Strong Excel skills
