Position Summary:
You will be an integral resource to continue our business adoption and use of leading technical platforms in Salesforce and other related environments. The team is well positioned to advance the company on multiple fronts, and we need an amazing Salesforce professional to help move us forward. This position expands our commitment and focuses on rapid delivery to the business. This role will report to the Director of IT. The SalesForce Engineer will serve as a member of a team that is responsible for the design, implementation, development, and support of our multi-instance SalesForce platform and connected internal business applications including an Epicor ERP platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of employees and contractors to define and support a robust SalesForce environment using agile methodologies
  • Manage tight collaboration with Product Owners to understand business processes, document requirements, and define solutions
  • Using Azure Dev Ops, develop, test, and maintain custom solutions for current and future SalesForce versions and capabilities
  • Maintain data integrity for all SalesForce environments
  • Support Salesforce integrations to other systems including ERP, ProCore, and 3D design tools
  • Maintain technical documentation and source code control related to project design and implementation
  • Respond quickly to resolve application issues
  • Other duties to support a collaborative approach to managing IT systems and environments as required

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 7+ years’ experience developing in and implementing SalesForce platforms, specifically a Lightning environment
  • 8+ years with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL
  • 5+ years’ experience with SalesForce API integrations such as SOAP/REST, OAuth, others
  • 3+ years’ experience using Azure Dev Ops as primary Agile environment
  • Strong experience with Conga, Docusign, and other Force platform tools
  • Experience implementing SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations such as Github, BitBucket etc
  • Valid SalesForce Platform Developer I Certification, Platform App Builder Certification, Salesforce Lightning Framework Specialist preferred – CERTS ARE SUPER IMPORTANT TO HAVE.
  • Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) experience
  • Experience with SFDC to Service Now integration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Current skills in designing custom fields/pick lists, custom objects, page layouts, workflow integration, approval processes, rules for validation and flow approval, custom tabs, custom dashboards and add-on app management
  • Integration experience with other systems, for example, Fresh Desk, Azure, AWS,
  • Understanding of Agile application development methodologies
